The Disposal and Destruction aim to ensure and convey the management’s commitment and intention to support goals and principles for information security in alignment with Netspective Communications LLC’s business processes. [FII-SCF-002-AST-09]

IT Asset, Equipment and Data Disposal

  • Netspective Communications LLC has an obligation to abide by all relevant local rules and regulations in order to dispose of IT assets and ensure they do not harm the environment. Netspective Communications LLC utilizes GreeIT concepts for the purpose of disposal.
  • As a prerequisite, the asset owner must give approval before disposing of any asset.
  • All equipment and IT hardware that need to be disposed of should be kept in a separate area.
  • All data must be destroyed before disposal, and no equipment should be resold or reused.
  • Electrical waste is handed over to authorized parties responsible for collecting electrical waste.
  • All asset tagging should be removed prior to destruction.
  • Hard drives should be shredded.
  • The chassis and other IT equipment that do not contain any data, such as monitors, printers, and keyboards, should be transported to eWaste collectors.
  • A member of Netspective Communications LLC’s IT admin department ensures their presence during the handover of assets to eWaste agencies.
