The policy defines the procedures and guidelines necessary to minimize the impact of such incidents and ensure timely recovery.

Disaster Recovery Procedures

Risk Assessment and Business Impact Analysis

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to IT systems and services.
  • Prioritize critical systems and services based on their impact on the Netspective Communications LLC’s operations and customer satisfaction.

Backup and Recovery

  • Implement a robust backup strategy to ensure the availability of up-to-date data backups.
  • Regularly test and validate the integrity and reliability of backups.
  • Maintain offsite backups to mitigate risks associated with on-premises failures.

Incident Response and Notification

  • Establish a clear incident response plan to promptly detect, respond, and mitigate the impact of disruptive incidents.
  • Define the communication channels and procedures to notify relevant stakeholders during a disaster or incident.

Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)

  • Define recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for each critical system and service.
  • Ensure that the recovery strategies are aligned with the defined RTO and RPO objectives.

Testing and Maintenance

  • Regularly test the disaster recovery plan to verify its effectiveness and identify any areas for improvement.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities to keep the plan up to date and reflective of the Netspective Communications LLC’s evolving IT landscape.
