Controls

  • Ensure each section provides clear and concise instructions for better understanding and usage of the project.
  • Regularly update the README.md file to reflect changes in the project and maintain its relevance.
  • Introduce the project with a high-level description of its purpose and goals.
  • Mention any prerequisites, dependencies, or technologies used in the project.
  • Include links to relevant resources like the project website, documentation, or issue tracker.
  • Clearly outline the installation and setup steps required for the project.
  • Specify any dependencies, libraries, or tools needed for the installation.
  • Provide code snippets, commands, or scripts to facilitate the installation process.
  • Explain how to use the project, including command-line options, environment variables, or configuration files.
  • Provide examples and use cases to demonstrate the project’s functionality.
  • Include any troubleshooting steps or known issues that users may encounter.
  • Explain the coding standards, version control practices, and review processes implemented in the project.
  • Clearly state the project’s license and include a copy of the license text or a link to it.
